In addition to strong fiscal management of the Credit Union, deposits
are protected by the Ontario Government through the Deposit Insurance
Corporation of Ontario (DICO) for $100,000. DICO provides separate
insurance to a maximum of $100,000 each for deposits held in
one name, jointly
in more than one name, and in
a trust account. All deposits made to registered plans are fully
insured with no limit on the maximum amount. Registered
plans include RRSPs, RRIFs, RESPs and TFSAs.
