Supporting the Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the Fire Fighters Museum
Posted on September 8th, 2011
We're pleased to announce our support for two worthy causes: the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the Canadian Fire Fighters Museum.
The Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation was created to honour and remember firefighters who have been killed in the line of duty and to support their families. There's no greater sacrifice a Fire Fighter can make than dying in the line of duty, so it seemed obvious to us that sponsoring the CFFF was the right thing to do. We stand alongisde the CFFF in honouring the many brave men and women of the Fire Services community.
We've also extended our support to the Canadian Fire Fighters Museum. Located in Port Hope, Ontario, the Museum includes an amazing collection of period hand-drawn, horse-drawn, and motorized vehicles, and an incredible array of firefighting artifacts and exhibits.
The Museum provides a wonderful perspective on the history of Fire Fighting in Canada and we encourage all of our members to visit the Museum, which for many will be an enjoyable trip down memory lane.
