Call For Nominations

We are seeking nominations of qualified candidates to represent our membership and run for election to our Board of Directors.

Our Board of Directors ensure the long-term success of the Credit Union. They must help the Credit Union plan for the future and move toward established goals.

Some of the background qualifications and skills valuable to this position include, but are not limited to:

• Financial: the knowledge and skills to interpret complex and detailed financial statements, and to assess business performance.
• Governance/Audit: experience in general audit, knowledge of consumer credit practices, policy development and strategic planning.
• General: member of a credit union for some time, plus a commitment to self-development through ongoing education, and active involvement in community and services clubs.

Three positions come up for election annually, each for a three year term.

• John Allard

Nominations Package

If you would like to seek a seat on our Board of Directors, please request a Nominations Package, which outlines the duties and time commitment required of a Director.

Conditions

Nominations must be received in writing. The member must be in good standing and sponsored in writing by at least two other members of the credit union who are neither employees nor officers of the credit union (the officers are the Chair and the Corporate Secretary).

The nomination must have a resume of the nominee's career and credit union involvement.  Nominations must be received not later than 4:00 PM on March 31st, 2012.

NOTE: Each nominee must meet with the Nominating Committee before Friday, April 13th, 2012 to ensure that all requirements of being a Director of a Credit Union are met.
