New Member Referrals Earn You Cash
We'll give you CASH for every Fire Fighter, family member or friend who joins Fire Services Credit Union based on your referral, with no limit on the number of referrals. Everyone gets easy access to outstanding FSCU personal banking services, plus a free copy of The Bucket Coach, our step-by-step money management and financial planning guide written specifically for Fire Fighters.
We'll reward both of you!
- The referring member (Ambassador) will receive either* a $25.00 referral reward or a $50.00 referral reward for every new member who qualifies for membership.
- The new member can apply for an FSCU MasterCard and take advantage (on approved credit) of our low introductory rate of 3.99% for 10 months on balance transfers, plus receive 5000 Choice Rewards® Points for linking their MasterCard® to their Debit (ATM) card. A linked Debit card adds reward points to the MasterCard with every Point of Sale purchase!

* How it works:
- A $25.00 referral reward is paid to the Ambassador when the new member has paid their member share and opened a savings account with scheduled ongoing biweekly deposits.
- A $50.00 referral reward is paid to the Ambassador when the new Primary Member has paid their member share, opened a functioning chequing account, and elected to deposit their regular net pay into that chequing account using Direct Deposit.
- In the event a new member becomes a Primary Member then the initial referring member will receive the additional $25.00.
- All referral fees will be paid after the first 90 days of an active membership account setup and any retroactive adjustment up to 6 months after the membership account was initially opened.
- A Professional Fire Fighters Association (PFFA) qualifies as an Ambassador if the new member states they're joining because of their Association's affiliation with FSCU.
- In order for a personal referral to qualify, FSCU must receive notification of the referral from the Ambassador via email, fax or telephone. The new member must also confirm that they were referred by the same Ambassador.
- The Ambassador program does not apply towards trust or joint accounts, sports organizations that have received the financial support of FSCU, canteen accounts, or any business accounts of existing members.
- FSCU reserves the right to modify or discontinue this program at any time.
